Margie Stringer Lamb, age 88, of Huntsville, died on Sunday January 2, 2011 at South Hampton Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Lamb was a longtime member and Sunday School Teacher at the Flint river Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Lamb; her parents, Cecil and Mattie Stringer; her great granddaughter, Mallory Lee Wright; her brothers, Edward and Carl Stringer; and her sister, Betty Sharp.
Mrs. Lamb is survived by her daughter, Patricia Kelsoe and husband Tim of Cullman, AL; her son, Dan Lamb and wife Tricia of Huntsville; her brother, Danny Stringer; her grandchildren, Greg Edwards, Daniel Lamb, Matthew Lamb, Tessia Wright, and Tiffany Edmondson; 6 great grandchildren; and her nephew, Robert Earl Sharp.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of South Hampton Nursing and Rehab Center for the care given to Mrs. Lamb during her stay.
