Margie Jeanette Shelton Edwards, age 86, of Greensboro, GA passed away, Monday, April 27, 2020 at her home with family. Born in Warrenton, GA on September 16, 1933 she was one of four children of the late Leonard Harris Shelton and Agnes Moates Shelton. She attended Alexander Stephens Institute in Crawfordville, GA and on June 10, 1950 she married Lawrence Gus Edwards. For many years she worked for Lena Hy Garment Company and later she became the tour guide for Alexander H Stephens State Park in Crawfordville, GA. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed word puzzles, reading and spoiling her grandchildren.
