Margie Etta Maxwell, age 91, of West Milford, WV passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at her residence. She was born October 29, 1924 in Harris County, Georgia, the daughter of late Richard Allen and Iva Clarice (Hassell) Allen. Margie is survived by her son, Raymond E. Maxwell, Jr and his wife Betty of West Milford, WV; two daughters, Shirley Paxton of Parkersburg, WV and Sue Dean & her husband, J.R. of Kincheloe, WV; twelve grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Irene Allen of Many, LA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Maxwell, Sr., whom she married March 3, 1944 and he died on April 11, 1993; one grandson, Michael Daugherty; two brothers, Ralph and Carl Allen; one sister, Helen Carroll. Margie was a member of the West Milford United Methodist Church, Harrison County Senior Citizens and West Milford Ivy Rebekah Lodge #124.
