Margie Keith, 93, of Franklin, went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2019 in Franklin.
A native of Manchester, KY, she was born to the late Rev. Edward Baker and Addie (Turner) Baker. She was married to John H. Keith Sr. who preceded her in death.
Margie was strong in her Christian faith throughout her life, and she was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Indianapolis for the last 10 years. She played guitar, loved bluegrass and gospel music, and penned a song titled, “Lord Help Me to Win Them.” She enjoyed baking and was known for her specialty fried hand pies. Margie was a wonderful wife and mother.
Margie is survived by five children; Lola Landers, Alma (Donnie) Emerson of Franklin, IN, John H. Keith Jr. of Springfield, MA, Marlana (Bill) Steagall of Franklin, IN, and Rita Keith of Carmel, IN; one sister, Lucy Rinck of OH; two brothers, Ralph Baker of FL, and Edward Baker Jr. of OH; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
