MIDDLETON, MA – Margery T. (Shanahan) LeDuc, 77 passed away peacefully at the Kaplan House in Danvers on Thursday, January 25, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Ralph W. LeDuc. Born in Dorchester on April 16, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Mary (McLaughlin) Shanahan and Patrick Shanahan. She was a graduate of Monsignor Ryan High School, Class of 1958 and Boston City School of Nursing, Class of 1961 where she received the prestigious Award for General Excellence in Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Margery worked as a head nurse at Boston City Hospital now Boston Medical Center and later as an intensive care unit nurse at Hunt Hospital in Danvers.
