Margery was born in East Walpole and graduated from Hyde Park High School. She attended Providence – Barrington Bible College and worked at Peoples Savings Bank for many years, it was at the bank where she met many of her lifelong cherished friends.
She raised three daughters and taught them that life will not always be full of roses so handle the thorns with strength, love, grace and faith – the roses will be sweeter. Be thankful for them and the lessons you learned.
Margery could have an engaging conversation with anyone because she was a compassionate listener and truly interested in knowing you even if it was only for a brief moment. She listened more than she spoke and could communicate with the subtle shift of her eyebrow.
She was happiest at an Art museum, Loved the Boston Pops and New England Sports Teams, especially the Celtics. She enjoyed her family most of all especially when they were all at the beach gazing at the ocean. She was the epitome of grace, dignity, tenacity, resilience and elegance with a bit of mischief mixed in.
