Margery E. Stanton, 89, formerly of Bellefonte, PA, beloved wife of 74 years to William E. Stanton, went to join the Lord on October 10, 2022. Born on October 28, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Edna (Rearick) Jackson.
Marge devoted her life to her God, her family and friends. She kept a lovely home welcoming all to holidays and luncheons serving homemade feasts and yummy pies at her beautifully set table.
In addition to her husband, Bill, Marge is survived by her children, Kathy (Thomas) Boughter, Lynne Rotan, Kristin (John) Conway, Amy (Robert) Besante and son-in-law, Edgar Runkle. She was Grammy to Sarah Boughter, Kate (David) Klingerman, Jonathan (Erikka) Runkle, Elizabeth (Kate) Runkle, Abigail (Justin) Conway-Malins, William (Maggie) Conway, Thomas Conway, Caleb (Becca) Fischer, Benjamin Fischer and thirteen great grandchildren. One of ten, she will be missed by her sisters, Geraldine DePaulo, Kay Schultz, sister-in-law, Frances Jackson, and many nieces and nephews. Margery was predeceased by her daughter, Robin Runkle; son, William Stanton, Jr.; son-in-law, Dennis Rotan; great-grandchildren, Emerson and Jackson Runkle; siblings, Barbara, Jacob, Norman, Sally, Pauline, William, and Elmer.
