Marge Anne Salvadore (nee Markhouse), 86, of Silver Ridge Park West section of Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her beloved family.
Born in Paterson, NJ, grew up in Fair Lawn, moved to Toms River eventually residing in Berkeley Twp. for the past 20 years.
Marge was known for her compassionate nature, joyful laughter and bubbly personality. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, a lifelong Yankees fan, and left a big impression on everyone she met. After raising her family, Marge was employed at K-Mart in Toms River for 13 years before retiring.
She was a member of the Silver Ridge Park West Women’s Club and enjoyed taking bus trips to Atlantic City.
Marge was predeceased by her brother John Markhouse.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Michael A. Salvadore, their five children Denise Kalinowski(Tom) of Toms River, Susan McClain(Doyle) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Michael J. Salvadore(Kathy) of Toms River, Donna Salvadore of New York, Sharon Thomas(Doug) of Jamison, PA, a sister Irene Pisacane, ten grandchildren, Melissa, Amber, Nicole, Tina, Jessica, Jasmine, Michael, Joshua, Samantha and Zachary, and eight great grandchildren, Giovanni, Rocco, Amora, Derek, Vivienne, Kali, Kai, and Amanda.
