Muncie-Margaret J. “Pegg” Fight, 83, passed away Tuesday morning, September 25, 2012, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born on March 15, 1929, in Muncie, the daughter of Ethan Allen and Ruby Mae (Williams) Richards.
Mrs. Fight had taught school for 38 years, serving Madison, Grant and Delaware County School Systems. Margaret was a member of both the National and Indiana State Teacher’s Associations.
Survivors include her daughter, Kendra Shellabarger, Muncie; two sons, Kevan Allen Fight, Cleveland, Ohio and Kelly Vaughn Fight, Port Arthur, Texas; five grandchildren, John Shellabarger (wife-Crystal), Kevan Patrick Fight, Christopher Jordan Fight, Kristina Randjelovic (husband-Nick) and Heather Palentchar (husband-Matthew) ; four great grandchildren, Aubrey, Jade, Mitch and Max; one sister, Patricia (Richards) Ray (husband-Dr.
Besides her husband of 58 years, Wilbur, she is preceded in death by her parents.
