Margarita Rodriguez, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted and loving wife of Miguel Rodriguez. Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Pedro and Candida (Solier) Vassallo. Margarita worked as a Nurse’s aide for the former Leader Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center and she also worked for Head Start for most of her life until retiring. She was a faithful member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem where she was a member of the Cofradía of the Sacred Heart. Margarita enjoyed cooking and entertaining her family on holidays and Sundays.
Survivors: In addition to her loving husband Miguel, she will be remembered by her sons Miguel Rodriguez, Jr. of Bethlehem, William Rodriguez of Cape Cod, MA and Xavier Rodriguez and his wife Rosa of Bethlehem; sisters Carmen Garcia of Bethlehem and Irma Huertas of Bethlehem as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
