Margaret W. “Peg” Risen, 96, of Galesburg, died at 7:35 a.m. Monday, October 19, 2015 at Heartland Healthcare Center, Galesburg.
Peg was born October 15, 1919 in Fulton, Illinois, the daughter of Robert E. and Tracy K. Tracy. Peg married the love of her life, Howard W. Risen on October 15, 1953. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1998. Peg is survived by her dear friends James “Dave” (Bev) Powell of Galesburg, and her many friends, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband; parents, two sisters, and one brother.
Peg was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church, where she served on the Altar and Rosary Society, and the Forresters.
