She was born June 30, 1941, in Elkhart, to Clair D. and Anna M. (Bulla) Lemon. She married Edgar A. “Joe” Rapp in Elkhart on Dec. 12, 1967. He survives at home.
Also surviving are two sons, Chad (Tina) Rapp of Elkhart and Matthew (Karla) Rapp of Bradenton, Fla.; a daughter, Melissa (Chris) Lerner of Elkhart; two brothers, James R. (Ann) Hollar of Huntington and Dr. William “Bill” Hollar of Kernsville, N.C.; her mother, Anna M. Hollar of Goshen; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clair, and a sister, Betty Moffett.
Peg was a waitress and bartender at the former “Joe and Eddie’s” (now Bulldog Crossing) in Elkhart for nearly 30 years and also worked at the Market Center Walmart in Goshen for 15 years. She was a lifetime member of Women of the Moose 1047 and DAV Chapter 15, both of Goshen, as well at Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart. She enjoyed her grandchildren, traveling (especially to Las Vegas) and making lap blankets to donate to various organizations and charities.
