Margaret V. Franklin, 79 of Greensburg passed away Saturday August 17,2013 in the Excela Westmoreland Hospital. She was born on February 5, 1934 in Latrobe and was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Kerila Katonka Sr.
Margaret was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Greensburg. .
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Marie Tonin and Rose Mary Stoner and a brother Frank Katonka Jr. and her grandson Ethan.
Surviving are her loving husband James L. Franklin , two daughters, Sally Jellison and husband James and Susan Capitano and husband Andy , sister Frances Stanko and brother Thomas Katonka and wife Maryann along with three grandchildren James R. Jellison Jr and fiancAC. Kelly Burkley and Andrew G. and Isabella R. Capitano. .
Margaret’s family wishes to thank the care and compassion given by Dr. Kasir of Excela Hospital.
Entombment will be in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
