Margaret T. Mohan, 90 of Holiday City Berkeley Section of Berkeley Township passed away on Tuesday July 1, 2014 at Bayside Manor in Keansburg, NJ. Born in County Cavan Ireland she moved to the US in 1957 to New Brunswick, then Edison, NJ and then on to Florida before moving to Holiday City Berkeley. Margaret and her husband owned and operated The Shannon Motel in Reddington Beach, Fla for many years.
She is predeceased by her 10 brothers. Surviving is her husband of 59 years Thomas Mohan, four daughters; Geraldine McSorley, Theresa Van Wie, Marie McAndrew and Peggy Carroll, her sister Mary Ellen “Baby”, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchild. Family will receive friends on Monday July 7, 2014 9am until 11am at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ.
