Margaret Stiles died peacefully at her home in Boise, ID on September 22, 2015 after a heroic battle with cancer. She was 79 years old.
Margaret was born in Boise to Mildred and Harvey DeMyer and was a graduate of Boise High School. She married the love of her life, William R. “Bill” Stiles, on October 22, 1955. They lived briefly in Pocatello, ID and Longview, WA before returning to Boise in 1969. Margaret and Bill were both dedicated employees of the Idaho Department of Labor for more than 30 years. To keep busy after her retirement Margaret worked part time in a local coin shop.
Margaret enjoyed collecting coins, working in her yard and touring America.
She is survived by her two sons, Randy (Mary) of Portland and Mike “Remi” (Becky) of Meridian; one brother, Chuck; three sisters, Joanne, Karen and Pat; three granddaughters, Trische, Melanee, Amber and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; brother, Sonny and sister, Phyllis.
