Margaret Perry Clark (Peg), of Fairfield, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Burr Perry, Sr. and Margaret Perry, she had been a lifelong Fairfield resident. A graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School, Mrs. Clark’s career in elementary education spanned many years. She taught at Grasmere Elementary School in Fairfield. Peg then began a 14 year career with the Region 15 School system in Middlebury from 1976 thru 1990, serving as elementary principal of both Shepardson and Johnson Schools. She later oversaw the construction and the opening of the Middlebury Elementary School where she became a dedicated and well admired principal until her retirement.
