Margaret “Peggy” Sewell, 87, of Hoschton, GA passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Don Sewell.
Mrs. Sewell is survived by her daughter, Sheila (Greg) Baird of Hoschton, GA; son, Stephen (Ivonne) Sewell of Bedford, TX; grandchildren, Lauren (Aaron) Woodhouse of Keller, TX; David (Andrea) Baird of Hoschton, GA; and Daniel (Cheyenne) Baird of Taylors, SC; ten great grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Barbara) Penland, Johnny Penland, and Leon (Irene) Penland all of Hayesville, NC. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Mrs. Sewell was born March 2, 1934 in Hayesville, NC, and a 1952 graduate of Hayesville High School. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service as a tax examiner with over 25 years of service. She was a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church in Buford, GA, and a member of the Senior Adult Sunday School class.
