Margaret “Peggy” M. Johnstone nee MacKenzie 92, died on September 10, 2014 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, NJ. Born in State College, Pa she lived in Nutley and Normandy Beach, NJ before moving to Harrogate in Lakewood, NJ. Peggy M. worked as the Office manager for the Franklin Men’s Shop in Nutley, NJ for many years. She was also an active community volunteer in Nutley and active with the Nutley Adult School, the Red Cross and Girl Scouts. Being from State College, Pa she was a lifelong Penn State football fan.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Franklin D. Johnstone in 1985, her parents Peter C. and Goldie Mae MacKenzie and her siblings Ruth Laughlin, Peter MacKenzie and William MacKenzie. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
