Margaret “Peg” M. (Stone) Campeau of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on May 15, 2021 at the age of sixty-four. She was the beloved wife of Maurice Campeau; loving mother of Lauren Campeau and her husband Patrick Paige of Plymouth and guardian of the late Alissa Burton; cherished grandmother of Jaxson Paige. She was the sister of Willard Stone and his wife Anne of Malden and the late James Stone. She was closest to her dear cousin Anne Sullivan. Peg was born on November 8, 1956 in Malden, MA to Willard and Evelyn (Drinkwater) Stone. She grew up in Malden and attended Malden Girls Catholic School. Upon high school graduation, she attended Fitchburg State University where she received a Bachelor of Nursing degree and became a Registered Nurse. She worked as a visiting nurse for twenty-eight years with Cura Visiting Nurse Association in Plymouth. She then went on to work as a school nurse at Manomet Elementary School for ten years until her retirement. Peg loved her trips to New Hampshire with her family and friends. Peg especially loved their sailing excursions, which took them to Martha’s Vineyard every July. She was a private person but made lots of friends with her kind spirit and she touched so many lives professionally and personally. Her greatest love was for her family whom she treasured. Her family would also like to thank Catline Andrade of Brockton who had been her caregiver. She thought the world of Cathy and appreciated the attentive and compassionate care she received.
