Margaret “Marge” Anne Bagley, 71, of Stratford, CT, beloved mom and grandmother passed away peacefully on June 18, 2022. Born on June 6, 1951, in Port Chester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Patrick Pennatto and Gloria Sabia Pennatto of Stamford, CT.
Marge worked for the Purchasing Department for the City of Milford, CT for 20 years and retired in 2019. Previously, she worked for 15 years at Pitney Bowes Corporate Office. She was a member of the MEA Union for the City of Milford, CT and held the positions of Treasurer, Sunshine Chairperson, and Second Vice President. An avid volunteer, she was a member of the Irish Heritage Society, the Sons of Italy-Norwalk Chapter, a volunteer with the Milford Oyster Festival, as well as annual City of Milford Blood Drives and Wellness Health Fairs. She served many years as the Team Leader for the Safety and Emergency Evacuation for her unit at the Parsons Government Complex.
Marge played ‘host mother’ to students from Italy and Spain through the Education First (EF) Program, and loved to read, travel to Europe, dance, and enjoyed the theater, all genres of music and classic movies and musicals.
She is survived by her only daughter, Christine Renee Bagley, son-in-law Jorge Fritz, and granddaughter, Teagan Lunajoy Fritz, all of Burke, VA.
Friends and family may gather on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
