Margaret “Maggie” Catherine Heinzman Llaneza, passed away peacefully at Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, early Saturday August 22, 2015. She was born July 28th, 1922 in Grafton, WV a daughter of the late Milton Blair and Minnie Faye McWilliams Heinzman.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph Anthony Llaneza, brother Joseph L. Heinzman, half-brother Arthur Trimble, son Melvin Lee Llaneza, step-grandson Jon Fowler, a number of brothers and sisters-in -law.
Surviving are her two sons James Llaneza & wife Cheryl, Dennis Llaneza & wife Tanya, and former wife Donna Llaneza, daughter-in-law, Sally Llaneza. grandchildren Margaret Owens & husband Rod, Jenifer Baker & fiancé John Henricks, Lori Fowler & husband Chris, Amber Banker & husband Shawn, Angie Halstead & husband Troy, Zan Llaneza, Tony Llaneza & fiancé Stacey Patterson, Annalise Llaneza, & Aric Llaneza. Great-grandchildren Lauren Baker, Nicholas Owens, Katelyn Owens, Chase Banker, Autumn Llaneza, Jayvin Llaneza, Jamera Llaneza, Mark Fowler, Hayden and Hendrix Halstead. Sister-in-law Tressie “Ferrise” Llaneza, Sister-in-law Grace “Gorgonio” Llaneza, Sister-in-law Pauline “Llaneza” Williams and her husband James, Goddaughter Karen “Seti” Harman, as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was Catholic by faith a member of the Saint James Church and a member of the St. James Altar Rosary Society. She was a longtime resident of the community of North View. A devoted wife, and loving mother and grandmother, her arms and home were open to all. She was an avid sports fan rooting for her favorite teams including the Mountaineers, Steelers, and Buccos. She loved quilting and dancing. She was known for her love of baking and sharing her trademark galettes and banana nut bread with friends and family.
Sadly, missed by all who knew her, she will never be forgotten through all of the lives that she touched. In the words of our beloved Gram, “Oh, Ho hum, wish you didn’t have to go.” Until we see you next time… .
