Margaret M. Steger, 84, of Anderson, passed away on October 26, 2020, at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson.
She was born on October 5, 1936, in Salt Lick, KY, the daughter of Labe and Lena Pearl (Goldy) Maze. Margaret attended Salt Lick Consolidated Schools in Salt Lick, KY. She retired from Red Lobster in Anderson after 32 years of service. Margaret enjoyed her flowers and doing yard work but most of all spending time with her family but especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Randy (Cathy) McClurg, Patty (Roy) Shepperd, Jeanie (Bob) Mayhugh, Jeff McClurg, and Zac Steger; honorary daughter, Cara Swink; sister, Jean Jewell; life-long companion, Bill Jewell; grandchildren, Rachael Smith (Trevor), Holly (Kyle) Pollock, Heidi (Justin) Southerland, Kyle McClurg (Emily), Klayton McClurg, Amelie Steger, and Emmi Steger; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; son, Greg McClurg; siblings, Lorine Maze, Labe Maze, Jr., Minnie Pearl Maze, and Charles Maze.
