Margaret M. Busgen, 87, of Bolingbrook, formerly of Cedar Point, Lisle and Downers Grove, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 at Meadowbrook Manor in Bolingbrook.
Ms. Busgen was born October 28, 1932 to Joseph C. and Margaret A. (Wiertz) Busgen. She was a lifelong, devout Catholic and was currently a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Lisle. She worked as a nurse and was on staff at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago. She was a proud breast cancer survivor.
Ms. Busgen was a very generous and caring person and enjoyed volunteering. She liked to knit and donated many of her creations to non-profit organizations. She also enjoyed gardening, visiting the library and her cats.
Ms. Busgen is survived by her friends, including Maria George of Woodridge. She was preceded in death by her parents.
