This time she wasn’t busy. Each time God came calling, she was just too busy to go….there was too much to do.
Margaret Rasmussen, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on December 6, 2018
She was a woman of strength, courage and bravery. She taught her children that there was not anything they could not do, as long as they did not quit Her love was boundless as she struck out on her own to parent her kids in the face of adversity.

Not showing any fear, she made everything look easy, when it was anything but.

She was the queen of early morning cuddles…unless there were raspberries to pick. She could not swim, but made sure her kids could. She made every holiday special, from the Halloween costumes she created to the desserts she baked. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren fiercely, doing everything in her power to love and protect them. She believed in the good of people no matter what.

Her grandchildren were her joy and were only had to ask her. The things she let them get away with continuously shocked her children Apparently one of the grandchildren doesn’t even sin (how remarkable). And then came her great granddaughters, who to the surprise of no one, exceeded even her grandchildren.
She was more than just a mother, grandmother, sister, wife and friend. She was a confidant. She was kind, funny, opinionated and faithful. A simple hug solved many things.

She loved to drive and travel. Hitting the open road in her sports car as she and Mac went on their next adventure. She was an avid Uconn Women’s basketball fan and lover of nature and butterflies. She spoke to God every day, so he knew just how busy she was. Finally she was too tired and he came knocking on the door. It is time to come home he said oh and well done.
