Margaret L. Margie Barth, 90, of Meredosia, died Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born Oct. 13, 1917 in Jacksonville, the daughter of James Charles and Grace Mae Parks Hennessey, and raised in the Catholic Childrenâ??s Home in Alton.
She married Leonard L. â??Peteâ? Barth on June 28, 1959 in Jacksonville and he preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 1991.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by five brothers, James, William, Charles, and Thomas Hennessey and Donald Renault (surviving wife, Esther of Charlotte, MI.); and one sister, Mary Helen Hennessey Johnson.
Mrs. Barth worked for Hertzberg New Method Book Bindery in Jacksonville until her retirement.
