Margaret L. Lohnes, 88, Markleville, died August 25, 2006 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Middletown after an extended illness.
She was born May 18, 1918 in Providence, Rhode Island, and was a Markleville resident since 1999. Margaret retired from General Electric in 1984 after 42 years of service. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church in Providence, Rhode Island and of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Anderson.
She is survived by her sister, Ruth Raymore of Markleville; nephew and special caregiver, Pete & wife Barb Raymore of Markleville; nieces and nephews, Kathy Raymore, John Raymore, Ed Ring and Phil Raymore; great nieces and great nephews, Kris Pence, Patrick Gabbard and Clint & wife Amy Raymore; great great niece, Missy Raymore; great great nephew, Mickey Pence. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff and nurses at Miller’s Merry Manor for their care and support.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph & Helen Driscoll Lohnes and good friend, Dot Kordylewski.
