Margaret (Kovacs) Gorkos, daughter of Theresa (Laszlo) and Joseph Kovacs, Bethlehem, PA, passed away on Saturday January 30, 2021 at Cedarbrook Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late William Gorkos who passed away in 2011. They were married for 72 years.
She is survived by daughters Susan (Gorkos) Sundaram and Margaret (Gorkos) Grimes, husband Steven, all of Center Valley, PA, her good friend and caretaker, Kay Jones, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by sisters: Mary, Theresa, Grace, Olga and brothers, Joseph, Blasé, Eugene and William.
Margaret (aka Margie and Gork) was an excellent seamstress, baker and homemaker. She and her husband loved dappling in any craft imaginable, including crocheting, knitting, macrame and making ornaments for every holiday which she shared with family and friends. She will be missed by her grandcat, Maggie and granddogs, Gracie and Rosie.
She was lifelong member of the former St. John Capistrano Church and the Ladies Holy Rosary Society. Having a will of steel, she was a feisty centenarian who will be dearly missed.
