Margaret Josephine Scheiner nee Duffner of Palos Heights formerly of Evergreen Park. Born March 19, 1928, died peacefully Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, in her home surrounded by her 3 adult children Jeffrey C. (Nancy M.), Gregory G. (Ellen M.), and Mary E. (Scheiner) Moran. Beloved wife of the late Otto F. Scheiner. Adoring Grandmother to Erik O. (Ashley E.), Nicole M., Mark J., Stacie P., and Adam G. Scheiner. Great-Grandmother of Brett O. and Brynn E. Scheiner. Cherished daughter of the late Agnes A. and Ralph J. Duffner. Loving sister of the late Rev. Ralph J. Duffner. Margaret was active in many organizations, including St Joseph Military Academy Parents Club, Marist Mother’s Club, Mt Assisi Parents Club, Palos Community Hospital Auxiliary, Little Company of Mary Hospital Auxiliary, and both St. Bernadette and St. Alexander Seniors Clubs. She was a consummate fundraiser for many charitable causes and an accomplished world traveler.
