Frederick1938~2021Margaret J. “Peggy” Frederick (nee Nelson) passed away on March 10, 2021Peggy grew up in Southwest Philadelphia as a parishioner of St. Barnabas. Her parents were Edward J. Nelson and Christina M. Nelson (Hanrahan). Peggy attended St. Barnabas parochial school and graduated from West Catholic Girls’ High School, Class of 1956.After Graduation, Peggy worked at General Electric where she met the love of her life, Norman C. Frederick, Sr. Peggy and Norm spent time in North Carolina while Norm was in the Army until they settled in Broomall. There they had their four children. Peg was an active member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church Parish. She loved her time as a choir member there.Ocean City was Peggy’s favorite place to be with her family. Many summer vacations were spent bike riding on the boardwalk with Norm or sunning on the beach with her grandchildren. She was the glue that has held us together. Nothing was ever too much for her to do for her family of friends. She will be missed by is survived by her husband Norman C. Sr., her children Christina (Matt), Norman Jr.(Kelly), Matthew(Donna), Michael (Jenny); She is also survived by her 6 Grandchildren Dan (Tracey), Steven (Alyssa), Garrett, Abby, Cole, and Michael; and her 5 Great Grandchildren, Tessa Aubrey, Troy, Keirsten and Carter.
