Margaret J. Anderson, 67, of Galesburg, died at 7:27 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2019 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.
Margaret was born February 9, 1952 in Galesburg, the daughter of Ralph Emerson and Margaret “Billie” Eloise (Loftus) Clark.
Margaret attended Maquon Schools. She married Mark E. Anderson on December 26, 1970 in Maquon.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 48 years, Mark of Galesburg; one son, Ryan Anderson of Galesburg; and three daughters, Della (John) Minon of Henderson, Kerry Anderson of Galesburg, and Shannon (Kevin) Sallo of Springfield. She is also survived by her eight beloved grandchildren, Katlin, Tanner, Spencer, Kayse, Aiden, Parker, Ambellina, and Tanis; and one great granddaughter, Khaleesi.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents.Margaret was a fulltime stay at home wife and mother. She was devoted to her family and could be best described as selfless and loving.
Margaret will be remembered for her amazing ability to cook and bake. She made many elaborate cakes for her family. She loved tending to her rose garden and enjoyed making many different crafts. Margaret also had an amazing calming affect on babies and children.
