DwyerMargaret I. “Marge” Dwyer (nee Verno), age 89, of Broomall, PA, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on December 19, 2021.Beloved wife of the late Joseph T. Dwyer, Jr.Survived by her cherished Joseph T., III (Connie), David E. (Sally), Janet M., and Anne Marie Viggiano (Michael); Adoring grandmother to Lysse Lowe (Bobby), Abbey Hocker (Adam), Daniel Dwyer, Helen Dwyer, Joshua Dwyer, Michael Viggiano, and Anthony Viggiano and great-grandmother to Axle, Rayven and Lincoln Lowe and Tiberius Hocker. She was loved by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.Margaret was born on December 6, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Caroline Verno (nee Cirillo) and survived by her sisters Rita Leuzzi and Annette Flaherty. She was raised by the late Giuseppe “Pepin” and Caroline Pelligrini and survived by her cousin Beatrice Hingston. She was predeceased by Anthony Verno, Frank Verno, Gelsie Marino, Eddie Verno, Vera Moscariello, Arthur Verno, Phyllis Fallis, Dominic Pelligrini, Yolanda Shauger, Josephine Dwyer.Marge’s love of food led her to work in the Marple Newtown School District cafeteria and Incredibly Edible Delites in Broomall. As well as catering with her friend Dottie Benedict for private parties and the Phillies organization.Marge’s favorite things in life were cooking, especially her homemade spaghetti and meatballs for family and friends, spending time with her family, watching the Phillies, afternoon happy hour with a glass of wine, and her annual Memorial Day family picnic.
