HOLTMAN, Margaret Potgiessser, Of Kalamazoo. Margaret died Friday morning, November 26, 2010, in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born October 16, 1916, in Kalamazoo, MI, a daughter of Tom and Tillie Veldt Potgiesser and had been a lifelong area resident.
Margaret was a member of Twin Lakes Reformed Church and had worked for the Brown Paper Company for many years. On March 21, 1941, Margaret was united in marriage with Adolph Holtman who preceded her in death on December 15, 1986.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Andrew, John, Harm, Richard and Thomas Potgiesser and a sister, Angie Greendyke. Margaret is survived by: three daughters, Shirley Bernard Westra of Kalamazoo, Linda Hurley of Portage and Judy John Kline of Oshtemo; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Alice, Dorothy and Shirley Potgiesser; and several nieces and nephews.
