Margaret Helen “Pinky” (Colson) McClellan, 81, passed away Friday Dec. 11, 2015 in Greenwood. She was a resident of Greenwood. She was born on August 8, 1934 in Scottsville, Kentucky to Jack and Pearl Colson.
Pinky was a homemaker. She loved bowling and was an avid flower gardener. She was the ultimate host and party planner for her family gathering events and pool parties.She was a lifelong member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis.
Survivors include three children, Deb (Mark) Carter of Beech Grove, Mark (Donna) McClellan and Wendy (Phil Martin) McClellan both of Greenwood, sister, Barbara Fogleman, two brothers, Jack “Jay” (Marty) Colson Jr. and Darryl Colson, five grandchildren, Ben Carter, Whitney (Drew) Young, Chelsea McClellan, Marci McClellan and Carly Carter and a great-grandchild, Carter Young.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles “Mac” McClellan and two sisters, Opal Cheslyn and Dean Long.
