Margaret H. Yates, age 75, of Terre Haute, passed away Monday, May 27, 2019. She was born to Roy and Rose (Toothman) Hanifin on October 25, 1943 in Ronceverte, West Virginia.
Margaret spent her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo. Margaret loved her family very much.
Margaret is survived by her children, Roy (Rose) Yates of Princes Lakes, Doug (Melanie) Yates of Jeffersonville, and Kim Swanson of Greenwood; her six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Yates, he passed in 2013; her parents, Roy and Rose (Toothman) Hanifin; her brother Pat Hanifin; and her sister, Mary Dean Bell.
