On July 19, 2013 my mother went on her final journey of life ad ascended into heaven to join her loved ones who have passed before her. She graced us with her devotion and love, she always took pride in telling her family stories of the “good ole days”. She was a loyal fan of IU basketball, she loved old western movies and musicals. Her favorite entertainer was Elvis Presley. She retired from RCA after 13 years of service.
She was born in Fairmount, Indiana May 30, 1927 to the late Jesse and Eva (Whitaker) Gray. She is survived by her daughter Eva Lou Justus Cole, Fairmount, IN 4 granddaughters; Angelia Cole (Sean) Pranger, Ft. Wayne, IN Deborah Cole (Michael) Estep and Eva Lou Cole (Jeff) Stilwell both of Churubusco, IN and Dawn Anne Cole Bear, Fairmount, IN. 8 Great Grandchildren; Robert Cole, David Stilwell, Nicole Bear, Hannah Estep, Joel Bear, Dylan Stilwell, Shelby Estep, Riley Pranger. One Great-Great Granddaughter; Liiliana Cole. One nephew Sammy Joe Shrack,, Ft. Wayne, IN and several Justus nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Justus, daughter Deborah Christine Justus, siblings; Donald Gray, LaVaughn Gray, Gerald Gray, Kenneth Gray, Dottie Shrack, Garnett Smith
