Mrs. Margaret Ellen Franklin, age 78 of Cleveland. Mrs. Franklin passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014.
Ellen was born in Habersham County on March 10, 1936 to the late Victor Cowart and Parolee Lyons Cowart. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Virginia London. Ellen was employed by Orbit Manufacturing in Helen for a number of years, spent the last several years as a homemaker. She loved the outdoors, whether it was camping , sunbathing or simply doing yard work, Ellen loved to be outside. She could also be seen at almost every antique car event in the area.
She is surived by her husband, L.G. Franklin, Cleveland, daughter Wanda Hood (Eddie) of Cleveland; sons, Billy Franklin and Ricky Franklin, both of Cleveland; sisters Barbara Thurmond, Cleveland, Marie Allen (Ted), Cleveland, Martha London, Cleveland, Janie Blackburn (Hugh) Cleveland, Cheryl Mize (Ross) Cleveland, brother, Tommy Cowart (Sue) also of Cleveland; grandchildren include Rodney and Shelly Seabolt, Jody and Melissa Hood, Ashley Franklin, Brooke Franklin,BJ Franklin, Christy and Larry Orr. Ellen is also survived by her ten great grandchildren
