Margaret Elizabeth (Pike) Perks, age 49, of High Street, Grafton passed away peacefully in her sleep, Wednesday, February 20, 2013. She was born in Baltimore, MD, May 29, 1963, a daughter of the late Freddie Pike and Margaret Ann (Mouser) Pike, who survives of Grafton. Her husband, Gary W. Perks, survives. They were united in marriage February 12, 1982.
Margaret was a 1981 graduate of Grafton High School. She attended Fairmont State College and obtained her nursing degree at United Technical Center. She was an LPN, and was currently employed at the Tygart Valley Care Clinic, at Grafton City Hospital. She had also worked as a surgical nurse, and a urology nurse. She was a member of the BPOE #308 of Grafton. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her two new grandsons, and her pug Junior.
In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by: one daughter, Gayle Anna Perks and fiancee’ James “Jamie” Bobela, Jr. of Springfield, TN; one son, Andrew James “Drew” Perks and wife Bayley (Assif) Perks, of Morgantown; two grandsons, Case Andrew Perks and Colton James Bobela; one sister, Carolyn (Pike) Flesher and husband Brooks, of Grafton; her mother and father in law, Eldon and Wanetta Perks, of Grafton; two brothers-in-law, Scott Perks and wife Paula, and Bruce Perks and wife Krista, all of Grafton; two sisters-in-law, Debra Keeler and husband John, of Culpepper, VA , and Janet Swisher, Grafton; one aunt, Thelma “Joann” Cook, of Grafton; one uncle; William “Bill Jim” Mouser and wife Judy, of Grafton five nephews, Elijah Flesher and wife Jaime, Jackson Flesher, Braydon Perks, Chris Perks, Josh Swisher, Jason Swisher, Johnny Keeler; nieces, Alexis Perks, Brooklyn Perks, Haley Perks, Johnanna Keeler, Shelly King; Sara Hinsley; several great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by one niece, Megan Perks.
