Margaret Elaine Smitherman Blaylock was born December 12, 1944, to the late Edward J. Smitherman and Beulah P. Smitherman of Moore County, North Carolina. She was a dedicated Christian and attended Berea Bible Fellowship (Pastor Dr. Arthur L. Clardy Sr.) in Fort Worth, Texas. She retired from the Fort Worth Texas Independent School District. She was a very upbeat and caring person; she never met a stranger. My Mother was a Praying Worrier of God’s word for many people for so long. As she studied God’s word, she discovered the book she loved most of all was the book of ISAIAH. Mother never had much. Whatever she had, she was willing to give it all.
She departed this life on July 20, 2022. She leaves to cherish her memories, William of the Bronx NYC, Michael (Kathey) of Sanford NC, Anthony of Harlem NYC, Beulah of Winston Salem NC, Regina (Charlie) of Eagle Springs NC, Jay (Becki), of Kenley NC, Dennis (Tasha) of Ft. Worth Tx and Candle of Ft Worth Tx. She had 29 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, one sister Jackie of Winston Salem NC, one brother Jarius of Richmond Va. and her favorite niece Little Jackie of Winston Salem NC and a host of other relatives and friends and a dear friend Tonza and the Johnson Family of Ft Worth Tx.
