Margaret E. Williams of South Oak St. Clarksburg, WV went to be with the Lord on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2009. She was born April 7, 1942 in Bristol, WV, a daughter of the late George and Delma C. Yarnell Edgell.
Margaret attended Victory High School and was a very outgoing and giving person. She was a member of the FOE 2353 Ladies Auxiliary, the VFW 573 Ladies Auxiliary, and a life member of the American Legion Post 13 Ladies Auxiliary. Margaret was the type of person who loved people, never met a stranger, and helped everyone she could. She was an avid bingo player and loved to dance.
Margaret is survived by her fiancée K. Robert Ryan Jr. of Clarksburg, her son, James Lee Williams and fiancée Debbie Fansler, and her daughter, April Williams, all of Clarksburg. She is also survived by 4 siblings: Samuel C. Edgell and wife Betty of Huntington, WV; Delbert Lee Edgell and wife Mary of Belington, WV; Crystal R. Jones of Clarksburg, WV; and Shorty Edgell of Parkersburg, WV. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends, and a special friend, Debbie Cooper.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, James Lloyd Williams; a grandson, Joshua Brady Williams; and 2 brothers: George H. Edgell and Donald W. Edgell.
