Margaret Ellen Talbert, age 101, passed away March 15, 2017. She resided at the St. Paul’s Archbishop Leibold Home, Little Sisters of the Poor, in Clifton. Margaret was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, May 13, 1915. She was the daughter of Margaret Stockwell Talbert (an accomplished poet) and Dr. Ernest Lynn Talbert, professor of Sociology at the University of Cincinnati from 1906 to 1949. Talbert House was named in Dr. Talbert’s honor in 1963. Margaret had many interests. She was knowledgeable about, and active in pursuing the genealogy of her family. She traveled many times during her life to research ancestors in Indiana, Kentucky and Pennsylvania, reaching out to other distant relatives. She loved reading.
