Margaret “Peg” DeAngelo, 61, of Bethlehem died Thursday, February 17, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.  She was the beloved wife of Michael J. DeAngelo with whom she celebrated 47 years of love and 39 years of marriage on November 6, 2021.  Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late George Weiss and Mary Margaret (Dickert) Weiss Downing.  She was a 1978 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School.  For the past 17 years Peg has been the property manager at Moravian House for the Moravian Development Corporation.  This was not just a position to Peg.  It was her passion and a call to service.  The residents loved her and considered her part of their family.  While her children were in school full time she was the school receptionist at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Elementary School.  Previously she worked in the marketing department at Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Allentown.  Peg was active as a volunteer for the Central Moravian Church Food Pantry and the Old York Road Senior Center in Bethlehem.  She was a devoted wife and treasured her children.  She was so proud of them.

Survivors: Husband; children, George DeAngelo and Lourdes Mori of Bethlehem, Veronica DeAngelo Johnson and husband Brian Johnson of Blue Bell, Lena DeAngelo and Kyle Rooney of Jersey City, NJ; siblings, Deborah wife of Daniel Perrett of Bethlehem, James Weiss of Allentown; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John DeAngelo, Jr. and Catherine DeAngelo of Whitehall; brother-in-law, Christopher DeAngelo and his wife Stephanie of Abington; sister-in-law, Karen Weiss of GA; nieces; nephews.  Peg was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Weiss.
