Margaret Mary (Peggy) DeTullio, 87, of New Haven, passed away Sept. 24, 2008 in St. Raphael’s Hospital. Born in New Haven April 4, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary DeBiase DeTullio. She graduated from local schools and was formerly employed at the East Chapel Spa, a family owned business. More recently, she worked as a 911dispatcher at the New Haven Fire Dept. Communications Center until her retirement. She is survived by three sisters, Virginia DeMartino & Gloria Novicki, both of East Haven and Louise Esposito of Branford; many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and great great nieces & nephews that were her “pride and joy” (her favorite expression of them). She was predeceased by four brothers, Joseph, William, Almerico and Anthony DeTullio; a sister, Anna DeAngelo; and Mary O’Connell to whom she was a friend and care giver. Her family would like to thank the many people who tendered loving care to Peggy, especially all those at St. Regis Health Center where she resided for the past 6 years.
