Margaret (Donnelly) “Peggy” Bell, 88, of Manchester, CT, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Margaret was born December 27, 1932 in Bristol, Connecticut daughter of the late Francis and Katherine Mary (Hardiman) Donnelly and sister of the late Jean Perry and Paul Donnelly. She graduated from Manchester High School in 1951 and began working at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in an administrative capacity as an addressograph operator. It was at Pratt and Whitney that she met James A. Bell and the two were married on December 12, 1958. They celebrated 56 years together, residing in Manchester, before he died in April 2015. In her younger years, Margaret enjoyed duckpin bowling in women’s leagues and singing in choral groups.
