Margaret Cheryl Stewart Skantz, 72, of Carriere, Mississippi, passed away on January 7, 2021.. Walt Barnes . Skantz was a native of Pearl River County and a member of New Palestine Baptist Church. Cheryl graduated from Picayune Memorial High School in 1966. In 1967 she married Conrad and spent the next 9 years as a military wife living in 5 US states and the island of Okinawa; with all three children born in different military was a dedicated mother known for her support of the Pearl River Central High School band and football programs. She was an avid reader and inspired the same in her children, and she loved cooking for her family. She enjoyed choral music, both as a performer and listener. She was also a faithful member of New Palestine Baptist Church, attending regularly until she was no longer is survived by her husband, Conrad P.. She was preceded in death by her parents, James U. Stewart and Margaret Harrell ..
