Margaret Catherine Mazurek, 88, of Glen Burnie, passed away on January 12, 2021, at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Margaret was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on July 15, 1932, to the late Naomi and Nicholas Sarro. In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her devoted husband of 59 years, Joseph Edward Mazurek, and two of her siblings, Sissy Machlinski and Sark Sarro, while being survived by her brother John Sarro. She is further survived by her beloved sons, Dario Mazurek and his wife Janet, and Roberto Mazurek and his wife Peggy; her cherished grandchildren, LCDR Brent Mazurek and his wife CMDR Robin Mazurek, Ryan Mazurek, LCPL Josh Mazurek, Chase Mazurek, and Kateri Johnson and her husband LCDR Andrew Johnson; her loving great-grandchildren, Jameson, Marian, Lilly, and Elliott. Margaret is also survived by many extended family members, friends, and “fur babies”.
