Margaret “Peggy” (Boone) Johnson,73, of Northern VA, formerly of Kingwood, WV, quietly departed this life on Monday, July 25, 2016, surrounded by her family at Inova Loudoun Hospital.
Peggy was born April 2, 1943, in Kingwood, WV, a daughter of the late Fred Byron and Mary Louise (Orr) Boone. She moved to Northern Virginia in 1961.
Peggy loved spending time with her family and enjoyed traveling. Her spirit, strength, love and fierce loyalty will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of her children: Wes (Kim); Ricky (Lisa); Scott (Robin); Michelle (Sebastian) Kesselaar; Chris (Dede); her grandchildren: Ben; Sam; Max; Ryan; Chelsea; John; Taylor; Emily; Charlotte; Nicholas; Ronin; Jacob; Joshua; and her siblings Joe, Larry, Bobbi and Debbie as well as a host of devoted siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother William Harry Boone.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street on Friday, July 29, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.; on Saturday, July 30, 2016, from 10:00 a.m.
