Margaret Ann Riley, 79, of Flemingsburg, passed away Saturday morning February 1, 2014, at Lexington Country Place after an extended illness.
Margaret Ann was born July 8, 1934, in Fleming County to the late Roy and Elizabeth Walton Strode.
Margaret Ann retired from the US Shoe Corp after 30 years of service. In recent years you could find her at the Stock Yards Restaurant waiting on the locals. She was a longtime member of the Flemingsburg Christian Church, Democratic Women’s Party of Flemingsburg, Historical Society, and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 1824.
She was preceded in death by two husbands James Harold Burke and Charles Riley, and her parents.
Survivors include her sons Rocky Burke and Robert Riley; grandchildren Skip Burke, Jared Burke and Allison Burke; great-grandson West Burke.
