Margaret A. Reilly, 70, of Kearny, passed away suddenly at home of natural causes on Friday August 28, 2015
She was born in Jersey City and grew up in Lyndhurst, where she graduated from high school on the Creditable List. She moved to Kearny in 1964.
Margaret was a talented artist and avid collector of music and movies.
Margaret was the beloved daughter of the late Frank & Peggie Reilly, sister of James and his wife Mercy, Rosemary Siegel, Frank Reilly (deceased), Elizabeth Keller, and Elenor Reilly. She was the thoughtful and caring aunt of twelve nieces and nephews, grand-aunt to eighteen, and great-grand-aunt to one. She also leaves behind her cherished pet fish Teto.
The Reilly family would like to express its appreciation to the community for the many kindnesses extended to Margaret, especially the Kearny Police Department and the Harrison Fire Department, as well as the Dolaghan brothers, who kept a benevolently watchful eye out for her safety. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Saint Cecilia’s Church and Mount Carmel Guild for their wonderful care of Margaret for over fifty years.
