Margaret A. Ortega, 80, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Kurt and Marie (Homuth) Moritz. Margaret was a 1954 graduate of Liberty High School. She worked as a waitress and dining room supervisor at the Pomfret Club and the Northampton Country Club, both in Easton, for many years, until retiring. Margaret was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan.
Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ramona Kametz and her husband Gerald of Bethlehem, Paul Ortega and his wife Caryl of Grand Haven, MI, Michael Ortega and his wife Mia and Matthew Ortega and his wife Jeannine both of Pittsfield, MA; grandchildren, Scott, Christie, Paul Jr., Shane, Adrianna, Dante, Carmello and Chandler. She was preceded in death by her siblings Bruno Moritz, Carl Moritz and Hilda Szarko.
