Details: Mardee L. Schickling, 63, a 35 year resident of Pasadena, died September 1 at the University of Md. Medical Center. She was born in Du Bois, Pennsylvania on November 6, 1948, to the late Donald and Anna Clark. In 1970 she graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She was a Computer technician with Anne Arundel County Public Schools at the Pasadena and Ft. Smallwood Elementary Schools up till her illness. Mardee was a member of Pasadena United Methodist Church, were she served as the Chairperson on Board of Trustees and worked with youth in the Sunday schools. She was a member of the National Education Association. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and caring for her family. She is survived by her husband of 41 years Eugene K. Schickling, a son Chris J. Schickling of Pasadena, a sister Leslee A. Nicholas of Virginia Beach.
